The following Code of Practice sets out the principles that determine how Opinion Health conducts its business.

In our business dealings

  • We value our clients, our employees, and our members who participate in the Opinion Health Panel.
  • We shall at all times endeavour to ensure that our employees and subcontractors act honestly and are suitably qualified.
  • We will always advise clients as to what we consider is the most effective study design and ensure it is implemented in the manner agreed upon. Any deviation will be agreed in advance.
  • We will conduct our business with integrity and in accordance with data protection and confidentially regulations.
  • We will always treat as confidential all information obtained from our panel members.
  • We will always treat as confidential all details of our clients’ business operations.
  • We will always treat as confidential the results of all research projects that are conducted for a specific client.

For our panel members

  • We value the trust placed in us and we guarantee to protect your privacy.
  • We will not provide any personal information to third party organisations.
  • Research outcomes will always be anonymised and aggregated. No personally identifiable details are reported.
  • In providing our services, we will comply with the Data Protection Act 1998 and any other relevant secondary legislation. We gain respondents' permission to use recordings for research purposes only, not for use in external promotions or in the public domain.
